The ideas behind my minimalistic poster. Minimalistic posters are pretty self explanatory, often only with the title of the film, a plains background and an image. Minimalistic posters are often retro themed. To create my minimalistic poster I used publisher. The background that I used was of a black swans feathers as they obviously related to the narrative of the film. I changed the saturation and brightness of the feathers down to make it darker so that the main image of the white wings representing a white swan was more visible and balanced with the rest of the poster. The title of the film, I decided was appropriate in a white font because it compliments the white wings in the middle of the simplistic poster.
